When you send an inquiry
We collect the name, email address, country or region, message and selected objects you submit. We use this information to review and respond to your request. The website does not take payments or automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Where information is kept
The website is hosted on our own server. Inquiry data is stored using Supabase and is available to the people responsible for handling collection inquiries. Service providers may process data outside your country. Inquiry records are not publicly readable.
Your BaZi reading
When you request a reading, the server uses your birth date, time and time zone to calculate the chart. Your name, gender and birthplace label stay in the browser. Only the derived chart and selected intention are sent to Google Gemini; a chart can still be personal information. Google processes it under its Gemini API terms, which depend on the provider account and billing tier. Do not submit another person’s details without their consent.
We do not store your birth details or readings in our database. This browser tab retains form details, calculated charts, interpretations, selected chapters and conversations so refreshing or returning can restore them without another interpretation request. If you choose Remember, the browser also retains them on this device for up to seven days after their last use; otherwise they are kept only for the current tab session, for at most seven days. Up to six readings are retained. Use Clear my details and reading to remove all these saved records. Signed request tokens expire after 30 minutes; saved readings remain readable, and asking a new question can renew the calculation authorization without regenerating the interpretation. A warm server process can temporarily reuse identical interpretation requests for up to 30 minutes. Daily salted request identifiers and one-use request IDs are kept for abuse prevention and purged after 48 hours when the service receives another request. Hosting providers may keep ordinary technical request logs. Downloaded readings remain under your control.
When you choose image generation, Google receives the creative theme, annual year and a derived element cue, without your name or birth details. The generated artwork and anonymous signed certificate are stored in Supabase for public lookup by unique number. They contain no birth chart. Recent artwork numbers are remembered on this device. Uploaded verification images are processed transiently, are not saved and are not sent to an AI model. Generation uses a separate daily request limit. Mint means off-chain digital issuance; it does not create an NFT or record ownership.
During a follow-up conversation, your question, up to three recent exchanges and the derived chart are sent to Google Gemini. Please omit names and contact details. Questions, answers and an unfinished draft are retained in the browser under the same session and optional seven-day device setting as the reading; they are not saved in our database. When the signed conversation context expires, a fresh conversation can begin while earlier answers remain visible. Anonymous request counters are used to limit abuse. The virtual guide is a fictional cultural presentation, not a real priest.
Saved objects
Your saved objects are kept in your browser’s local storage on this device. The Tao Te Ching reader also stores your most recent chapter, chapter bookmarks, text size and language preferences locally in this browser. No reading history is sent to a server and no account is created. Remove individual objects on the Saved page, or clear your browser’s site data to remove this list. Private browsing or disabled storage may prevent the list from being retained.
Technical information
The hosting provider processes ordinary request information to deliver and protect the website. The site does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts and collection images are served with the website.
Your choices
Submit only the information needed for your question. To request access, correction or deletion of an inquiry, use the contact form, include the email address used for the original inquiry and state your request. We may need to verify it before taking action. Records should be retained only while needed to handle the inquiry and any related obligations.
